Virginia Tech Basketball Loses Assistant Adrian Autry To Dayton

David Teel from The Daily Press is reporting that Virginia Tech assistant coach Adrian Autry will be leaving to take a similar position at the University of Dayton. Autry just completed his first season as an assistant coach under Seth Greenberg after spending two seasons as Director of Basketball Operations. The loss means Greenberg now has to fill two positions for the second year in a row. On the bright side, the Virginia Tech assistant position has been a stepping stone in recent years so Greenberg shouldn't have trouble finding quality candidates for the job. Update (4/22): Multiple sources are now reporting that Autry never signed an official agreement with Dayton and has now accepted an assistant coach position at his alma mater Syracuse.
