The Hokies’ 7th ranked wrestling team hosts rival UVA this Saturday at 7pm and you can help Tech set a new attendance record! The goal is to get 5,000 fans in Cassell to see the Hokies duke it out with the Wahoos. This is a great chance to watch the Hokies, who have become one of the top wrestling programs in the country, as they look to defeat the visiting Cavaliers for the 5th straight time.
Tech is 15-4 (2-0 ACC) on the season and is coming off a big win over #12 Lehigh last weekend inside Cassell. The Hokies feature 6 wrestlers ranked #19 or better in the country. Virginia enters the match with a 15-5 (2-0 ACC) record and was in the “also receiving votes” category in the latest rankings.
Come out and support the Hokies in Cassell this Saturday at 7pm! Admission is free and the first 300 fans will receive a free drawstring bag.
